Boot
A button that boots a fake app: the splash shows at least 800ms, waits for ready, then leaves and reports ondone.
Hand this to your AI. It names the exact library parts, timings and accessibility promises of this demo.
Build the "Boot" pattern (@codeatlasdev/ui demo #844, feedback/splash-screen) in my app.
Call get_demo({ ids: ["#844"] }) first and keep its structure. It needs @codeatlasdev/[email protected].
Use: App shells that load a session or data before the first screen and must not flash the splash.
Keep these library parts, with the props and tokens the demo uses:
- Button, SplashScreen from "@codeatlasdev/ui"
Behaviour to keep:
- `<SplashScreen {ready} minDuration={800} ondone={() => seen++}>` with a `logo` snippet holding `<strong class="mark">Acme</strong>`
- `start()` sets `ready = false`, bumps `boot` and sets `ready = true` after `1200` ms
- Wrapped in `{#key boot}` and rendered only once `boot > 0`
- A caption shows `Splash screens shown: {seen}`
Reduced motion: the demo handles it; keep that branch.
Keyboard: operable; keep the focus order and key handling.
Change only the copy and the data. Use the theme tokens (--ca-*), never raw colours. Library parts
- Button
@codeatlasdev/ui - SplashScreen
@codeatlasdev/ui
How it is built
- `<SplashScreen {ready} minDuration={800} ondone={() => seen++}>` with a `logo` snippet holding `<strong class="mark">Acme</strong>`
- `start()` sets `ready = false`, bumps `boot` and sets `ready = true` after `1200` ms
- Wrapped in `{#key boot}` and rendered only once `boot > 0`
- A caption shows `Splash screens shown: {seen}`
