#601
Short panel
An app shell with one module of two items and collapseShortPanel: only the rail shows, the page uses the full width.
Hand this to your AI. It names the exact library parts, timings and accessibility promises of this demo.
Build the "Short panel" pattern (@codeatlasdev/ui demo #601, layout/app-shell) in my app.
Call get_demo({ ids: ["#601"] }) first and keep its structure. It needs @codeatlasdev/[email protected].
Use: Small modules (settings, profile) where a 200px panel would hold two links and leave the rest empty.
Keep these library parts, with the props and tokens the demo uses:
- AppShellLayout, PageShell, Card, NavModule from "@codeatlasdev/ui"
Behaviour to keep:
- `<AppShellLayout {modules} {pathname} collapseShortPanel persistPanel={false} mainId={null} skipLink={false}>` in a 320px tall frame
- One module `id: 'settings'` (Settings icon) with two items: Profile and Billing
- Page is `<PageShell title="Profile" description="A two-item module needs no panel: the rail is enough.">` with a `Card` hint
Reduced motion: the demo handles it; keep that branch.
Keyboard: operable; keep the focus order and key handling.
Change only the copy and the data. Use the theme tokens (--ca-*), never raw colours. Library parts
How it is built
- `<AppShellLayout {modules} {pathname} collapseShortPanel persistPanel={false} mainId={null} skipLink={false}>` in a 320px tall frame
- One module `id: 'settings'` (Settings icon) with two items: Profile and Billing
- Page is `<PageShell title="Profile" description="A two-item module needs no panel: the rail is enough.">` with a `Card` hint
