#054
Basic
Three text areas: empty, with a placeholder, and with initial content.
Hand this to your AI. It names the exact library parts, timings and accessibility promises of this demo.
Build the "Basic" pattern (@codeatlasdev/ui demo #054, inputs/text-area) in my app.
Call get_demo({ ids: ["#054"] }) first and keep its structure. It needs @codeatlasdev/[email protected].
Use: Free-form multi-line input such as a message, notes or a description.
Keep these library parts, with the props and tokens the demo uses:
- TextArea from "@codeatlasdev/ui"
Behaviour to keep:
- `<TextArea label="Message" bind:value={message} />` starts empty
- `<TextArea label="Notes" placeholder="Write something…" bind:value={notes} />`
- `<TextArea label="Description" bind:value={description} />` starts as `Some initial content here.`
Reduced motion: the demo handles it; keep that branch.
Keyboard: operable; keep the focus order and key handling.
Change only the copy and the data. Use the theme tokens (--ca-*), never raw colours. Library parts
- TextArea
@codeatlasdev/ui
How it is built
- `<TextArea label="Message" bind:value={message} />` starts empty
- `<TextArea label="Notes" placeholder="Write something…" bind:value={notes} />`
- `<TextArea label="Description" bind:value={description} />` starts as `Some initial content here.`
